Release of a cumulated trend dataset built from ISSP National Identity modules 1995, 2003 and 2013

We are very happy to announce the release of a cumulated trend dataset built from ISSP National Identity modules 1995, 2003 and 2013 (ZA5960, doi:10.4232/1.13471) and Add On-file (ZA5961, doi:10.4232/1.13472).

It contains opinion and attitude data on issues such as immigration, individual national identity and national pride or prerequisites for others to become citizens, to mention only a few. Covering 31 countries from across the world, these cumulated data allow combined cross-national and trend analyses over two decades.

The cumulated data file (ZA5960) includes: 1) the countries that participated at least twice in an ISSP National Identity module and 2) the variables that were collected as part of the modules, again, at least twice. Relevant variables that could not be cumulated for methodological reasons are still available in the Add On file (ZA5961) which can easily be matched with the cumulated file.
